September and October Highlights
We have been busy! What I don't know exactly - other than work, church callings, preschool/dance, and keeping up with a two-year-old. We're just happily enjoying life as it is right now! Here are a few things we've been up to:
One Friday morning we went to breakfast at our favorite Bear Paw Cafe and then over to the downtown park for a ride on the new Merry-Go-Round!
Next we drove to Springdale to get Matt checked in for his Saturday morning hike of "The Subway" in Zions. We stayed at our usual hotel, had dinner at Wildcat Willies and stopped by the candy shop for a little sweet! The next morning Matt and eight other guys made the eight hour trek thru the canyons of Zion! They had a blast. On our way to Springdale, we stopped at Fort Zion, looked around the sourvenir shop and walked thru the "ghost town" and saw a few animals along the way!
"The Undertakers" themselves:
Camille and Holland came and stayed with us for six days while Camille worked in St. George. Abby loved having a playmate ALL day for that long. And both girls were so good to include Rett. At night we enjoyed going for walks to the park with Camille and just hanging out.
And making smoothies!
This was hilarious! Matt offered $1 to A and H if they could drag his dead weight from the family room to his bedroom. After about the first five minutes we all thought the girls were going to call it quits. So I "upped the ante" and said I'd give them not one, but FIVE BUCKS each if they could do it. Finally about 2o minutes later....
... they did it! So I gave them each FIVE BUCKS (yeehaw ;)) and one dollar bill. Way to go Girls! Thanks for the good laughs.
One of the kids favorite places to sit: the kitchen counter...
watching Mom make a breakfast smoothie of spinach, frozen blueberries and peaches, and OJ... the kids all loved it!
On September 28th, Matt and I took Abby to see "The Little Mermaid" at Tuacahn. Amazing to sum it up in just one word. They did an incredible job and Abby's eyes were glued to the stage the entire time. Ariel and Ursula were the stars of the show in my opinion. But everyone really did a great job. So glad we could share this night together with her.

I so wish that I could have seen "The Little Mermaid" at Tuacahn. Who would have thought we would be too busy traveling to drive down to St. George!?! That new carousel looks awesome, and the girls dragging Matt to his bedroom reminds me of when you kids were little and you would drag your dad. Great update, Andrea!
Can't believe we never made it down to St. George this whole year! We'll get down there eventually and get to see your cute house! You totally had me...I thought...wow that's pretty generous of Andrea to offer $5/each...you cheap skate:)
You guys spell F U N! What fun outings. Now wait a second, did Abby paint that witch on her pumpkin? Seriously? Wowzers if she did and love the George...go matt! That sequence of pics of matt being drug cracked me up and I could just picture you Ang laughing at the whole thing and matt totally keeping a straight face. So fun.
So fun to have a sister come and stay for a week! I'm sure you guys had the greatest time. Way to go Matt for giving the girls a great workout (: Kudos to them for not giving up! And Andrea....I'm a green smoothie girl too...seriously LOVE them!! I'm coming over to share recipes!
Always having so much fun! What a cool play to see. HD would LOVE that. Awesome pictures.
