WA to Washington
(Once) Washington State residents Camille and Holland came for a quick visit to Washington, Utah last week, along with Grandma Joyce. It was so much fun to have a 24-hour buddy (or 72-hour I should say) for Abby and I loved spending time with my mom, sister, and niece! Thanks for making the trip down and for the food supply Mom! You're great to help out wherever you go.
They arrived late Tuesday night, a few hours before Matt and I returned from a quick business getaway to Las Vegas (Thanks to Grandma Linda for watching the kids Monday and Tuesday!). On Wednesday, we went shopping at Costco and enjoyed a tasty lunch of hot dogs and pizza. We thought Rett would share Mom's hot dog, but instead he decided to enjoy Grandma's salad! Who knew? Then we took the kids to the park and they enjoyed running around together. That night after dinner, Matt took Abby and Holland swimming at the Recreation Center and Mom, Camille, Rett, and me went to TJMaxx and DownEast Home. Would you believe the only thing purchased was a frame by Mom (well, and a Diet Coke and cookie for me. :))?
On Thursday, we took it easy since a couple of us were under the weather and since the girl's loved every minute of playing outside in the backyard (they built several bird's nests with dead grass?). Later in the afternoon, Mom and I took the kids to Jumpin' Jacks - an indoor bounce house - and Camille met up with us after work. It was a lot of have watching her play in the bounce houses with the kids. Go Camille! Afterwards, we stopped at Tai Pan for a quick look-around and then headed home to make dinner. On Friday, we met Camille for lunch at Twenty-Five Main. After eating, we went to Judd's - a fun, retro candy/soda shop just around the corner of Main. Then we went to a second-hand thrift decor shop before saying our goodbyes til next time! Can't wait to see you ladies in February! And Holland - Abby already misses you. Thanks for being patient with her and keeping her entertained for three days!

Hahaha, loved that post Ang! I especially love how Camille just jumped right in and had a good old time. Seeing her made me even more excited to be with just my girls. Hattie would love something like that Jumpin Jacks place...or whatever its called.
