LAGOON

My parents gave everyone tickets to Lagoon this year and since we didn't use them while visiting in July we decided to make another trip up north (among other planned activities). So we met up with Hillary and her girls and went on all the little kid rides. Abby loves being with Adelyn and Elsie and being with them at Lagoon is all the better! After the rides, we headed over to watch a bird show that was quite impressive, and then on over to Lagoon-a-Beach. Hillary was great to let Matt and I go on the ride Tidal Wave and then down a couple of slides at the beach. We had fun all circling the lazy river a few times while all piled on to just two tubes. Thanks Hill for joining us and making it an even better day!

The ole Tidal Wave... still gives me butterflies everytime I ride.

All waiting for the train ride!

These two little guys liked watching all the animals on the train ride!

Check out his funky looking hump!

This parrot was so cute - rode on a little scooter, rollerblades, and even pushed a tiny shopping cart.
After the beach we took a break and had dinner at a Logan favorite - Firehouse Pizza - and then went home and got the kids settled with the babysitter before Matt and I headed back to Lagoon for a little date night. Talk about Blast from the Past! Got to love the good ole days of holding hands with your crush at Lagoon. We tried not to be too cheesy, but heck why not? We couldn't possibly be as cheesy as just about everyone else.
One of our favorite rides of the entire night was the Go-Carts. You have to pay a little extra but it was so worth it just to see the look on Matt's face racing those things. I wish I could have gotten a picture of him. So much fun!

Up high on the sky ride!

Seeing if he can avoid being touched by the water before heading out of the park!
Our second favorite ride of the night was Wicked! Oh how I wish I could have had a picture of Matt's face after that one. It was his first time riding it and we both had so much fun we got right back in line to ride it again. Amazing ride if you haven't been on it. One of the best roller coasters ever.
And then we got home to find this:

Thank you SO much Siggy for watching the kids for us. We had a fabulous night together thanks to you helping us out! Love you!!

Ang, I love that pic of you and Matt on the sky ride...that would've been so fun to just run around Lagoon at night with Ry (not pregnant of course!) That's awesome you guys got to go. Abby really is such a cutie when she sleeps...those crazy long eyelashes of hers! So cute. I can't believe Rett is climbing on things!! How old is he again?? I swear he was just born. Anyway, good to see your doing well.

I'm so glad that you were able to use the Lagoon tickets!! You were able to do so much in one weekend, and we weren't even here when you came. We will have to plan on coming down to St. George when it cools down a little. You have the cutest and happiest kids!!!
