11 months and not looking back!
11 FUN things Abby's doing at month 11:
1. She gets excited when we put her shoes on... she takes a shoe from me and taps it on her foot like, "Here you go Mom."
2. She is able to free stand for about ten seconds at a time and even took her first step a few days ago!
3. She has quite the appetite and wants to eat whenever we eat and whatever we're eating. Her favorites are watermelon, apples, apple juice, and popcorn. I asked her if she wanted to eat yesterday, and I swear it sounded like she said, "Boo Yeah."
4. She loves people and will stare them down before she gives a big smile and shows all four of her teeth. And she waves hello and goodbye every chance she gets.
5. People are drawn to her and she knows how to make everyone feel important... even if it's just for a brief moment.
6. She plays peek-a-boo while hiding behind her favorite Hello Kitty blanket.
7. She loves to sit and rock in her wooden rocking chair Mom found at a garage sale.
8. She loves to find her way through the smallest of spaces. I get the feeling she'll be building lots of forts with Dad someday. She loves to crawl, sit, and play in tight corners, on the dishwasher, in Mom and Dad's dark closet, in the pantry, under the kitchen table, and even in the refrigerator (while I was cleaning it)!
9. She takes about a 2-3 hour nap every day so that Mom can get something done.
10. She loves the grocery store because of all the lights, sounds, and color (even when it comes to people). People of all different cultures/ethnicities are drawn to her and she loves to look at them.
11. She quickly reacts to music and noise and likes to move and do her own kind of dance!
Just to name a few.

Yep, facing forward at 11 months! I know it's probably illegal, but she doesn't fit in her rear-facing seat anymore and definately weighs more than 20 pounds.

Abby wasn't feeling well this past week (serious constipation). I came out of my room and found her nestled in the box of blankets. She stayed there for 20 minutes and would have stayed longer had I let her. We needed to head out for our morning walk.

At least twice a day I find Abby in her room looking at all of her books. She loves books! I just hope the love will last.
