Summer Trip to Utah and Idaho

Abby and I headed to Utah on July 24th and returned August 14th! Wow, long trip I know. But it was so much fun that we still didn't want to come home after three whole weeks. Just a quick run-down of what we did:
July 24: Drove straight to Hinckley to be with the Ekins, Spencer's, and the Riley's; visited Grandpa Nickle and Barbara, ate at the favorite Leo's Restaurant, went biking, watched movies, and just had fun hangin'!
July 26: Drove from Hinckley to Centerville
July 27: Drove with Grandpa Garner ALL day to finally end up in Rexburg... once we got there, we met everyone for dinner at Craigo's and then swam at the hotel.
July 28: Rigby Family Reunion... good eats, lots of jumping rope, and talk, talk, talk! I got the infamous line plenty of times, as usual, "Oh, now you must be Joyce's!" Yep.
July 29: Drove to Island Park to stay at the Rigby cabin for a Garner reunion... once we got there, we rode four-wheelers, played games, and got situated for the week.
July 30: Happy Birthday Tom! We did lots of waterskiing, four-wheeling, card games, video games, and plenty of good eats. Hillary made a yummy dutch oven peach cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream!
July 31: Same as above as well as lots of picture taking! Check out my post below. We left mid-afternoon for West Yellowstone to check out the shops, eat dinner, and go to The Playmill Theatre to see "Annie, Get Your Gun!" My favorite day of the whole week! I always leave wanting to be an actor/dancer/singer. After the show, Grandpa bought everyone ice cream and then we said goodbye to Jen, Sabe, and Isabella.
August 1: More waterskiing, four-wheeling, etc., until the Lakes left by afternoon. Garner's made awesome tinfoil dinners and then Heather, Hillary, and I decided last minute to go back to West Yellowstone to see another show at The Playmill, "Footloose." We had lots of fun laughing.
August 2: Cleaned the cabin and said our goodbye's... well, a few of us did. Dad, Mom, Olivia, Jaxon, myself and Abby left to visit Ashley and the NEW BABY in Logan! She is a beautiful little redheaded version of Ashley.
August 3: My FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! See post below. Other than talk a lot on the phone with Matt, we spent most of the day recovering from our cabin trip while Jen took lots of pictures of family and the Garner's made preparations to leave.
August 4-7: Hung out with the Anderson's before they left, went swimming at Farmington Pool with Hillary, ate lots of tacos :), went to visit Mom at Church History Museum, shopped at Gateway, took more pictures, and so on.
August 8-10: Drove to Logan to help Ashley out and the new baby. We did a little shopping and had dinner at Juniper and Firehouse Grill. And I, of course, got ice cream at Charlie's for everyone. Can't miss out on that! Matt was a bit jealous. Abby and I visited Karen one night and Elise and Max a couple of times.
August 11: Went shopping with Mom and Heather at Tai Pan Trading Co. and IKEA. We watched a movie that night while I went through all my old stuff (scrapbooks, journals, school papers, etc.).
August 12: Church :)
August 13: Lagoon ALL day with a small break mid-day. Heather and Ryan and the two of us went to Lagoon-A-Beach in the morning, took a break for lunch and went to Cafe Rio (I had to make it one last time), and then went back to Lagoon at night with Mom, Tom and Hillary and the girls. We had a blast! Hill, myself, Ry, and Heather felt like little kids again as we RAN from ride to ride. Mom and Tom were great to stay with the little ones. We took a break from riding rides to go to Pioneer Village for some delicious ice cream. Thanks Mom!
August 14: Abby's 10 month birthday and we had to go back home to Indy. :(

Can you tell how much I like food? We had SO much fun. Thanks to everyone for making our trip so memorable. Lets do it again next year, eh?!

Silly Girl! I guess she was desperate for some attention.

And of course she got it.

Not the prettiest picture, but a classic I just had to share.

Abby at Firehouse Grill. She was loving the breadsticks!

Mr. McKay, Adam, and Ashley. Can you believe this girl just had a baby one week before?!

Myself and Mama with food still in her mouth. :)

Abby's new pajamas from Grandma Joyce... thanks Mom!

McKay gave Abby kisses every chance he got!

Abby LOVED the four-wheelers. I took her for long rides while she sat in the Baby Bjorn. These pictures were taken in a church parking lot where Grandpa delivered some carpet on our way up.

Jaxon, Olivia, Grandma, and Abby while visiting Grandpa Garner in Idaho Falls.

Garner, McKenna, Abby, Cole, Jaxon, Olivia, and Jaden all dressed up for the Manger Scene at the Church History Museum where Grandma volunteers once a week.

Abby thought she could ride Pooh Bear ALL BY HERSELF. She did pretty good.
