New Harmony

We just got back from another week in Evansville. Abby was excited to see her jars of coins again. We had a lot of fun, but it's always good to be in your own place.

While we were in Evansville, Matt surprised us and took us on a short detour west of town to a city called New Harmony. We stayed the night at a bed 'n breakfast and had fun walking around the historic town settled by Rappites in the mid-1800's. The town was quaint and very relaxing.

"The Red Geranium" where we ate

This was the perfect tree to climb so we couldn't pass it up. Abby had fun looking down at me... a view she's not used to!

"The Labryinth" - a garden maze like the Rappite's used to build

"And in the beginning was love. Love made a sphere: all things grew within it; the sphere then encompassed beginnings and endings, beginning and end. Love had a compass whose whirling dance traced out a sphere of love in the void: in the center thereof rose a fountain."

The Circus of the Sun, Robert Lax

I just had to show this puzzle off since it took us FOREVER to complete. It was a gift to Matt for Father's Day since he loves car racing and puzzles. We started it the weekend before we left and finished it the weekend after. Hallelujah it's finished! It may not look very hard, but it's probably the hardest puzzle I've done yet. 1000 pieces.
