November

Rett wore his Thor costume for pretty much the entire month of November. I couldn't help but let him because he looked so cute.

One night the kids endured through one of Dad's John Wayne movies.

Rett still loves to play PBS Kids on the computer.

And he loves to help Matt mow the ENTIRE lawn. Matt is so patient to let him.

We had a bit of a scare when Rett's arm started causing him a lot of pain. We first thought he broke it. But since it happened over a weekend we decided to wait it out until Monday. To our surprise Monday he was back to normal. Since this first incident, it has happened again. We think he has "Nurse's Elbow" where the elbow gets out of socket anytime the arm is pulled harder than normal. Poor kid.

This is how I found Abby one night when I went in to check on her/turn out her lights!

We always look forward to going to Aubrey or Cody's basketball games. This particular one of Cody's was while we were waiting for Matt to finish a 5k he did in St. George.

The 5k was called "Color Me Rad" and this is what he looked like afterwards. We all got a good laugh the second he walked into the gym.

For Thanksgiving this year, our dear friends Sue and Kevin Schmidt invited us over to their place. They were so nice to have us especially since I wasn't in the shape to cook a big meal being 39 weeks prego. The morning of Matt wanted to try his hand at homemade rolls. And he also got permission from Kevin Schmidt to use their Nintendo game system. He hooked it up and had fun playing all morning with the kids.

The Hyde's drove through town the day before Thanksgiving on their way home from San Diego (where Adam worked the previous six weeks). They took our family to dinner at Chili's as their Christmas gift to us. They also gave Abby a clay set and Rett a car with an electric toy drill. We had so much fun with them for just the short time they stayed.

Matt found some bread he and Adam used to eat in Brazil. The boys ate it right up, along with some Guarana - Brazilian soda.

Matt's family also got together Thanksgiving weekend for dinner at Golden Corral. They met at the park afterwards to play ball and catch up on a beautiful November day in St. George!
