Bingo Party and Christmas

For Christmas this year, we decided to head North and be with my family. Jen was going to take Claire's baby pictures and we didn't want to miss the annual Rigby Bingo Party of course. Besides, four of my six siblings and their families were going to be home for Christmas so we didn't want to miss out on any of the fun.

Grandpa Rigby is so sweet and generous to host the Bingo Party every year. He loves his family. Grandma passed away 11 years ago and this is a tradition they started together 25 years ago! So since her passing, he likes to bring her picture to accompany him at his table. Ninety plus people were in attendance this year and Grandpa provided three gifts per person to win playing bingo.

It's always so much fun to see family and play catch up from the past year.

Mom put together this shadow box for Grandpa with Grandma's wedding veil that he kept in his dresser drawer.

Since Claire is the youngest grandchild, she got to sit on Santa's lap first!

"All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!"

When Michele sat on Santa's lap, he asked her what she wanted for Christmas. She said, "I want Brian to come home." (Brian has been working in New York until he can find work in Boise). Santa then read the Lake family a note from his pocket that said her wish would be granted!

Cole was especially emotional. He and his dad share a special bond and like all the other kids has really missed their whole family being together.

Mom always does a beautiful job of setting the table for special dinners.

 Rett and Cohen are best buds.
