Week of Halloween

Just down the road a few blocks is the Staheli Family Farm. Every Fall they have a lot of fun events like a pumpkin patch, "barrel train" rides for the kids, wagon rides, a huge swing, mattress trampoline between two big hay bales, country karaoke, a chuckwagon, playground with corn kernals, etc. and a corn maze that they carve with the help of an aerial sketch. We went with our friends the Udy's and had so much fun. Afterwards we went to our house for cake and apples with dip.

Later in the week we headed north for Matt's work, dr.'s appointment for Abby, and Halloween with the Garner's. On our way home, we stopped in Hinckley for a day.

The boys hanging out

Cousin Aubrey and her mom stopped in for a visit just before we left.

Abby trying on her Snow White costume that Aubrey gave to her

Rett in his bat costume from Aunt Michele

Rett wearing Elsie's Dorothy wig

Uncle Tom and cousin Adelyn stirring the Witches Brew!

Dinner in a Pumpkin - yum!

The girls playing Musical Chairs

Boy cousins just one week apart - Rett and Cohen

Trick or Treat!

Eating a Halloween cake donut from Dick's Bakery

The girls had fun making candied eyeballs and the food coloring got all over their teeth!

Tom and Hill had fun scaring the girls with a skeleton mask... Abby got especially scared. In fact the first night back to our house she kept telling us that monsters were in her room.

Dorothy from the dead

Rett wearing Matt's coat when he was about 2 years old. We took a picture of Abby in the coat when she was about Rett's age. Maybe one day Grandma and Grandpa will part with it. :)
On our way out of Hinckley, we stopped in Delta to pay Grandpa Nickle and Barb a visit. Grandpa turns 90 years old this week!

Abby loves to visit their house because of all their cats!
