15 Weeks!

Today I had my 15 week 3 day ultrasound appointment. Mom and Dad are in town so I invited them to join in on the fun. Mom has seen one baby ultrasound before (Michele's) but Dad has never seen one. So how cool for him to experience something new and so dear to me. The office staff all smiled when the six of us walked back to the small ultrasound room. Once we heard the heartbeat and saw the five fingers open we were once again so grateful for the healthy progress of this little one.

To help my kids understand this "baby inside of me" a little bit more and how big "IT" is: "At 15 weeks, a baby is approximately 4 inches and weighs 4 oz.... just like a cube of butter!" according to my ultrasound tech.:) I say "IT" because we have decided to not find out the sex! Yep, we figure we've waited this long to get the kid inside of me, we can wait 25 more weeks to learn if it's a he or a she.

Love that mom and dad were there for you to experience that and I love that your not finding out....you bet your bottom dollar you can wait to find out, your a champ at having to wait for things right! So excited for you and that picture of your little ones hand is just a miracle and so neat to see.

Congratulations Andrea!! I haven't looked at your blog for a while. I have often wondered if you guys were going to do IVF again. We did it again last spring and I got another beautiful girl in November. She is almost 8 months old. IVF is an amazing thing. One of the hardest things to go through, but worth it for sure! We moved from Las Vegas to Montana last spring so next time we do IVF it won't be as easy. But I am just enjoying my 2 girls now. Time goes by so fast. I hope your pregnancy goes well! You have a beautiful family! :)
