October

It has been a busy couple of months for us... hence the serious lack of blogging on my part. Plus I couldn't find the camera for a time, the computer was having issues, and I just didn't make it my biggest priority.

Until then, here are a few of the things we were up to in the month of October:

Yes, that's right... the kids were wearing shorts in the early part of the month. They love to help Dad work in the yard!

Our ward Trunk-or-Treat was lots of fun and included a spook alley that the youth put together. Abby was scared at first but one of her babysitters carried her through the whole thing and she was glad she went.

Rett was "Georgie" (Curious George)

Abby wasn't in a picture-taking mood that night, but she was Rapunzel (minus the cool long blonde wig I bought her).

These pics were taken in front of her preschool teacher's door... Mrs. May. They had a Halloween Parade.

It has become an annual tradition to go with friends one night to the Staheli Family Farm - corn maze, tractor ride, pig races, animal farm, and fun kid's rides. This year we went with our good friends the Jones'.

Rett LOVES tractors!

The classic one-eyed smile

Malynn and Dallen on top of hay bales with Abby

They had the best witch roaming around the entire night. She came to our table and cackled while we ate churros and drank hot chocolate.

Aye Matey!

The Williams' came to Centerville for a few days in October so the kids and I drove up to hang out with the whole gang. We missed Gr. Joyce and Papa Doug though... they were away on a trip. But we still had lots of fun. The Ekins arrived on Halloween and ate dinner at Garner's (thank Hill) and then trick-or-treated in their neighborhood. Aside from seeing the cute kiddos, it was pretty fun for the adults to dress up too! Thanks for the memories Tom, Hill, Heather, Ryan, and Camille!

Princess Zelda (Ady), Rapunzel (Abby), Barbie Princess (Elsie), Georgie, Annie (Hattie), and a cute little skeleton (Cohen).

A kitten (with tight black pleather pants), a workout mama!, and a few who-knows-whats!

hehehe :)

Love the whole get-up Tommy!

Tom and Hill's neighbors did an awesome job with decorating their yards!

Boo!!

The kids loved this woman's witch costume.

One neighbor made tons of donuts to hand out to everyone who stopped by... they were sooo yummy!

One night the guys were great to watch all the kids so just us girls could go out! Thanks Tom and Ryan!! So we went downtown to The Gateway, had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, and then did a little shopping. Love these girls... thank for a fun night!

And just a fun week overrall!

It looks like Doug and I missed out on a lot of fun while we were cruising!! So glad you took pictures. The kids looked darling in their costumes AND what can I say about the adults?!? You certainly didn't get your costume creativeness from me, for sure!
