New Home!

Yes, I'm finally posting pictures of the new place! We just closed last Friday, went to Provo for the marathon, got our keys Monday, and are in the process of getting work done before moving in. After nine long months of searching for a place, we finally found it. We feel so blessed to have been able to rent from my parents the last three years, and now feel so grateful to be in a position to buy our own. Mom and Dad were the best landlords anyone could ask for and we look forward to making sure their place is in good hands for the next few years. We'll just be up the street - you can get there in two minutes. New ward, but same building.

Some of the home's features include: 2700 square feet, 1/3 acre lot, right next to a grassy park, house faces North (can see the top of Pine Valley Mtn. - a plus for around here), three bedrooms plus den, 2.5 baths, extra room above the garage, and so many extra bonus features that we're excited about. This week we're getting bids on a few things that we'd like to eventually have done or that are required for our homeowner's insurance policy. New hand rail for cement steps, gates on both sides of the house, fresh coat of paint inside, some sheet-rock and stucco patchwork, lots of cleaning and lots of yardwork! And then of course "the move".

But enough battery to take a pic of this cute guy. He loves his two blue blankies and is finally showing interest in cartoons. Well if you count sitting for five minutes "interest".
