Conference Weekend
We headed North for General Conference Weekend mostly because Matt's mission reunion happened to be in Centerville. One of his two mission presidents, Elder Ellis, is currently a member of the Seventy so they chose Centerville to reside while he serves. His other mission president, President Broadhead, resides in Rexburg while he serves as the Academic Vice President at BYUI. It was great catching up and remembering times in the field (and of course drinking some Guaranara).
Matt rode the shuttle home Sunday and I stayed a few extra days. We were lucky to get my sweet little cousin Brooke as our driving companion for the way home. She was so great with the kids and helped me out so much.
This is the famous "Tie Quilt" pieced together by Sister Ellis. Before each missionary left the mission, she would cut half of any tie they wore while serving and then write their name and the dates they served.

The tie quilt is such a neat idea! So glad that you could attend Matt's missionary reunion with both presidents and their wives right here in Centerville. Thanks again for all of your help with the pruning. As always, it was great having you here.
