Abby's 2nd Dance Recital
We are so proud of Abby and all her hard work in dance this year. After her first concert, we suggested that she watch her instructor and smile more. She could hardly wait the next five months for her next concert I think to prove to Mom and Dad that she was listening to us. We were so impressed with how far she has come. Not only did she follow her teacher so well during the performances, but she knew every step and smiled A LOT. Even though she can be a bit shy around people, she has so much confidence when she is on that stage. It was fun to see her in her element and I think this first year is just the start to many other years to follow. Simply put, she loves to dance!
There was a really big mirror left in our new house and she loves to stand in front of it and dance. She'll get all girlied up (lip gloss and all) and pretend like she's in dance class. So cute.
Dad presented her with flowers after the show... she felt pretty special. And then we went to Chuck-a-Rama - her restaurant of choice!

love the pics, but really got a good laugh at the one of matt and abby...did you notice rhett in the background trying to break into the vending machine? ha! :o)
What a beautiful little ballerina! I wish we could have seen her dance recital. Maybe when we come this weekend she can give us a short version of her performance.
