Pretty Princess turns 4!

And I still can't believe it. She has been waiting for this day for who knows how long. It finally came and she loved every minute of it. I offered a nice pancake breakfast in bed, but she said, "No Mom, I want Tiger Cereal (Frosted Flakes). After breakfast, she opened her gift from us - a Cinderella dress - that she just couldn't wait to try on. She wanted to wear it a few times before Halloween.
After lunch, we picked up her best friend Brianna and went to Jumpin' Jacks (an indoor blow-up toy warehouse). The girls had fun going non-stop, except to eat a few treats. After JJ's, we went to Abby's favorite place for treats - Sonic - and got watermelon slushies.
After dinner that night, we had a princess cake, and opened up a card from G&G Garner (thanks for the early b-day gift - Tinkerbell dvd) and a purple tutu from G&G Ekins.
Thanks to everyone for the phone calls, voice messages, and cards! She had a really fun day.
Today we met up with Dad for lunch and Abby picked the place since we didn't go out ON her birthday. There was no other option in her mind than ole Chuck-a-Rama. So we had more cake and more Happy Birthday singing.
Oh how we love this little girl. She amazes me with the knowledge she quickly picks up on. Her loves are: dancing, music, movies, drawing/coloring/painting, playing with little Rett, slushies/sno cones, staying up late with M&D, having playdates, riding her bike with training wheels, changing her clothes several times throughout the day, playing princesses or house, etc., etc. She's very independent but always needs to stay close to Mom (or Dad). She's not real quick to trust just anyone, but plays great with everyone. She's a great little helper around the house and is a fun big sister to Rett.

Best friend Brianna at Jumpin' Jacks

Rett was just waking up from a nap so he enjoyed lounging back and watching the girls have fun. I'm sure that before too long I won't be able to keep track of this kid.

And he enjoyed eating the girl's treat too!

After we dropped Brianna off, Abby wanted to watch Robin Hood in bed. I found her soon after like this... she was pooped!

We got a good laugh out of this! Rett was anxious to try the cake so I let him lick the bottom of one of the princesses (that doesn't sound too good) and it looked like I put red lipstick strategically on his lips!

We got G&G Ekins on the phone whil Abby opened the gift they sent in the mail. Thank you! She loves her purple tutu and headband... and so does Rett. ;)
