10 Months and Hiking
Our little Everett turned 10 months old today! I can't believe he'll be the big ONE before we know it. We couldn't ask for a better baby. The only tough thing about him is trying to keep up with his appetite. And as you can see from the two pictures below, he's been ready for that forward-facing carseat for some time now. I think the one-year law might just be going out the window for us and this kid will be in one as soon as Costco gets their next shipment of carseats. We love this kid so much and still can't get enough of him!
We went for a really fun hike today up past Kanarraville (about 20 miles north of where we live). The trail follows alongside a mountain stream and so a lot of the hiking was done in the water. It was so beautiful and refreshing to be in cooler air. Abby did great and hiked most of it by herself. Mom and Dad did carry her through much of the water parts as she forgot her hiking/water shoes. And Rett was quite content riding on Dad's back.
My cousin Kali babysat the kids last night while Matt and I went out. Abby loves Kali and has so much fun playing with her!
This little girl makes me so happy.
