The big 3-0!

Yes it came, we saw, and I'm living the high life officially in my 30's. Just another day, another year. Why not celebrate?! The day before my "big day", my dear friend Becky took me to lunch at Chuck's (Chuck-o-Rama). And yes it was my request because 1. I love the variety, 2. Becky is 33 weeks prego with twins, and 3. Abby is free! So it satisfies everyone.

On Friday, we drove to Centerville for the night. Mom and Dad took us out to Chili's for dinner and dessert! We got up the next morning and made our way to Logan. We stopped at Smith & Edward's, ate lunch in the car at Maddox, and then headed to the campus of Utah State. We spent quite a bit of time in the bookstore, walked around the Taggart Student Center, the Institute building, Old Main, etc. It was fun to take pictures and videotape parts of the day and sort of document our life of back then. We even sat for a few moments in the car in front of our first apartment together. Oh, the memories!

Later we met up with our Student Leadership and Activities Advisor Tiffany Evans for dinner at one of our favorites - Cafe Sabor. Afterwards, thanks to her, we went to the final Aggie's home basketball game. We had a blast! Except for poor Rett. He didn't know what to think of all the noise and people for about the first 20 minutes. After Matt calmed him down outside, he brought him back in with his ears muffled and he fell right to sleep. After he got his nap in, he seemed to enjoy the rest of the second half.

At Chuck's with Becky

Abby had way too much fun in the bookstore!

On the third floor of the TSC where we held many meetings for student government. Our very first picture taken together was a group shot in this very place.

In the Institute building next to the picture of the year Matt served as president.

The question is: Will she be standing in this very spot someday only to become a True Aggie?

Love that Tiff!

And can't leave without some fried ice cream!

Abby had fun trying to follow Big Blue wherever he went.

The students flooded the court after the victorious win!

Okay Ang, How fun was this! I love that you all got aggie apparel, even Rett (too cute). It looks like it was a good time stepping back in yesterday. You and Matt look so happy and you have 2 of the darndest cutest kids. It looks like Abby rules that "A" and "aint nobody gonna still my kisses from me!" How fun that you stopped at Smith and Edwards and ate at all those great places.

I'm so excited to hopefully get to see you in a few weeks.

love, heath

You did a great job recording your fun birthday weekend! You will always have such wonderful memories of college. My favorite picture was Abby standing on the "A" with an attitude.
