Rain, Rain, Go Away!
... come again another day. Because we do love you and need you oh so much. Just not for one week straight! The rain just would not stop coming down last week. The picture below can verify:
(this is the stone walkway Matt started a few weeks ago. More pictures to come soon).
So we decided to stay indoors. Abby had fun building princess castles with her new wood blocks,
being pushed around in the laundry hamper,
watching movies all nestled in bed,
(I love the look on Rett's face in this picture - it was just after he woke up).
swimming in mom's BIG bathtub,
With the cold weather comes sick kids! Rett has had croup for about a week now and we're ready to be over it! Poor kid coughs a lot, especially during the night. And he even has a hard time holding down his meals. He's getting a little bit better with each day.
LOVE how cute he is when he sleeps!
Rett's new thing is to suck on carrots. Kind of a nice alternative to the bink.
Yes, I found Rett like this after leaving him with Sister for just a few moments:
We decided to head North to Cedar City on Saturday to get some snow sledding in (since we don't get enough snow in George nor have any hills to sled on. Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining one bit). We thought Abby especially should have the experience before she grew another year old.
Cody and Abby = Buddies for Life
Matt was great to take her up and down, up and down, over and over again. Until she finally wanted to go ALL by herself. We were so proud.
Matt rode down the hill backwards while videotaping Abby going all by herself.
Gotta love Lynn and Kathryn's Team Arctic jackets. Back in the day they were a dynamic duo on the snowmobiles!
Ya, they even convinced me to go down the hill once, minus snow gear and all.

haha i love abby's goggles and Rett in his Bumbo. Ang it was good talking with you today. I'm so sorry that he was sick and for a week. I know how that is, Hattie was the same way. It's tough and you just wish you could be sick for them.
I loved catching up, seeing all those pictures!! Now we just need to catch up talking, K? Your kids are beautiful and Abby is hilarious! I hope Rett is feeling better. So sorry he's been sick. Love you guys. Michele

Hi Andrea!! I finally made it to your blog through my mom's password! I need to learn how to do it by myself so I can check your happenings. Those kids of yours are just beautiful!! Abby is darling, and a total GIRL---I LOVE to see an ALL girlie girl!! And Rett is truly kissable to say the least. Also, I can't believe how amazing you look after just having Rett. You get prettier every time I see you--seriously if that is possible. We sure would love to be in St. George right now with some nice warm weather. Hugs to all your cute family! xoxoxox Alison
