5 Months... and still growing
This kid is big. At first glance, he doesn't look necessarily "fat" or real "chubby." He's just super solid. And just when I thought I was producing an ample supply of milk, he still isn't satisfied! So we're trying some "extras" like Vegetable Medley. Well, lets just say he enjoyed playing with it more than having it in his mouth. Tomorrow we'll try some rice cereal and start with something a little more basic. I have a feeling this is just a start to my son "eating us out of house and home."
5 month notes:
His first tooth is beginning to come through - bottom front
Turned from his back to stomach while in his bouncy seat!
He sleeps through most of the night - usually gets hungry around 5 or 6 am
Had his first baby food - Vegetable Medley
Laughs when tickled on his stomach/neck
Likes to pull his feet up and even put his big toe in his mouth
Likes to hear his voice - thank goodness for binkies at church!
Smiles all the time! Abby likes to say, "Brother's a happy little boy!"
Gets excited when Dad walks through the door
Gets even more excited when Mom walks through the door :)
Loves to nap with his blanket against his face
Currently wears 9 month or 6-12 month clothes and size 4 diaper
Weighs in at... 20 lbs. This kid's feet hang off his car seat!
And last but not least, he's so much fun to kiss! I can't get enough.

So cute! He's getting so big. It really was great to see you over Christmas and be able to hang out a bit. I think you asked about how I'm liking the jeans... well, I haven't worn them yet. I'm planning on taking them back for a bra or something. :)
oh i just want squish those little cheeks and thighs. Love this boy, can't wait to see him again, it's been way too long!

I'm so glad I spoke with you this evening so that I knew you posted something new on your blog. I've actually missed two postings. Rett is doing so well, and Abby is as darling as ever. Dad and I were both so impressed at how well Abby's voice sounds. Modern medicine is amazing!
He is so cute. And I'm jealous that he's a "big" boy. I keep trying to get Ethan to pack on the pounds, but it's just not happening. Ah well. Maybe he can be a gymnast! :)
Wow Andrea! You sure know how to make beautiful children, they're both perfect. Rett is so cute, he looks computer generated, and Abby's been a stunner from the beginning. Good job. I totally laughed about Abby's cupboard-time. "um, mom I don't think you'll fit in here.." so funny!
I just saw your last two posts, too. I love how you are documenting all the new and fun things the kids are doing. You will look back in years to come and just smile and smile! You are doing such a great job with such darling children!
