Weekend of pictures, family, BC, blessing, and more pictures
This past weekend we drove to SL to have little Everett's pictures taken by my famous photographer sister Jen. She was so kind and generous to fly out from Virginia and take both newborn pics (my brother's little boy as well as mine). And boy did she take some pics! She went above and beyond the call and I can not wait to see them! She also snatched some of Abby with baby, Dad with baby, and even a family portrait. Can't thank her enough.
The first night we arrived sister Heather and I went to see Brandi Carlile perform LIVE at The Depot in Salt Lake. A.W.E.S.O.M.E. I discovered Brandi in Summer '05 while working at my depressing on-campus financial aid job at IUPUI. To rid some of the boredom, I would listen to Yahoo! music/music videos and stumbled across this chica with the coolest voice/lyrics ever! And I've loved her ever since. Heather came to love her too and we FINALLY went to a concert. Oh ya, and we were practically touching the stage! It was worth the wait and I'm already excited to see her perform again. Her third album comes out next month! Check out some of her songs on my blog.
Tom and Hill blessed their little guy Cohen on Sunday and Tom was able to have three of his six sisters there, along with Mom and Dad and all of Hill's family. It was beautiful and Tom did a wonderful job. The food afterwards was delicious and we just had a fun-filled day before having to say goodbye and go back to our separate homes.
Hattie and Abby = Buddies for life!

Looks like fun. I can't wait to see the pictures your sister took. I really like Brandi Carlile too. That's awesome you got to see her at the Depot. I love concerts there. They are so intimate. You look great, by the way!
Andrea, You have adorable kids. Everett is a handsome little guy. And I really don't know if there is a cuter little girl than Abby, both Brad and I think that she is so so so stinkin adorable. I miss you guys. Looks like life is treating you well.
