38 Weeks TODAY

Now I'm starting to get a bit anxious you might say. Just ask Matt and he'll tell you. I suddenly feel the urge to make sure everything is totally ready for this kid to come. Just to keep my mind busy, I've been doing a lot of organizing around the house, some shopping, and a bit of cleaning. Forget the heat... I'll bear it for now. There's too much to do!

Yesterday's doctor's appointment: Dilated at a 2-3, 70% effaced. For the most part, I'm right on track to deliver on my due date. Next week we'll be discussing the possibility of inducement. As exciting as it all is, I'm scared that my water will break in the middle of the night and I'll have to drag a friend out of their comfortable bed to come and hang out at the house. I'm thinking about putting Abby's bed-wetter protector underneath me since she really hasn't needed it (knock on wood).

Wish me luck! I need all that I can get right now.
