Happy Father's Day!

We are so blessed to have such great influencial fathers in our lives. I am so thankful for my own father, for Matt's father, both sets of grandfathers, etc. Most importantly, I'm eternally grateful for a Father in Heaven that I know lives and loves me.

I thank Matt every day for the wonderful father he is to Abby. She is so lucky to have a dad who adores her, plays with her, takes her with him wherever he goes, and will even do her hair all pretty. She really couldn't ask for a better dad.

This is a framed "daddy's girl" picture Abby gave to her dad yesterday. It's a picture of them on their daddy-daughter campout from last weekend. Matt is wearing his new sport coat that I gave him. He looked so good!

Yummy meal of steak, twice-baked potatoes, swiss chard, Brazilian limeade, and...

chocolate zucchini cake! Mmmm. All menu items pre-selected by Matt himself. He was a happy boy.

After dinner, we went for a drive on the west side of town and came across our dream home. Then we went and toured the Jacob Hamblin home in Santa Clara for a bit of history on just one great father of our land. It was a fabulous day! Thanks for letting us share it with you Matt.
