Still Growing
Today marks week 24! I'm about 60% of the way through this pregnancy and it already feels like 100%. Crazy to think this little boy kept me up in the middle of the night... already! He was kickin' like you wouldn't believe. You have to understand what a relief that is every time He kicks because it just reminds me that something is actually alive and well in there!
My thoughts are on a dear friend today. My very same doctor, at the very same clinc, that I went to for in vitro in Las Vegas, is "pulling her fertilized eggs out" today from the freezing cycle. Now it's just the waiting game for her to see how many will make it to the 6-8 cell blastocyst phase. I know exactly how she's feeling right now - the emotion, the anticipation, the anxiety, the hope, and even the fear.
When I was going through this part of the process, I just kept telling myself, "however many are meant to make it will." Looking back, I'm amazed that just one out of 10 made it all the way. I called that one my little fighter from the beginning. He must really want to be here to go through what He did. I'm excited to meet this little guy and get to know why He decided to choose ME. How grateful I am! I hope at least one chooses to make it for my friend.

I'm so excited for you! I am so glad things are going well for you to!! I feel for your friend too! It is a long road, but totaly worth it in the end!! Things are going really well with us, my little Madisyn is almost 8 weeks old! I can't believe how fast time goes by. It is pretty amazing to look at her and think how she got here! I hope everthing continues to go well, if your ever down here in Vegas give me a call!

Andrea...hello! This is your cousin Amy. I don't have access to your blog (shame on you!) so I had to log on under my mom. I am SOOO excited that you guys are having a boy! I have to say it's been so fun to have the opposite sex this time around. Everything is new and different. So I'm sure you'll enjoy everything about it! And I can't wait to hear what name you guys come up with. That is always my favorite part of people having babies (well, after finding out what it is, of course). What will the name be!

Ang! Congrats on being pregnant!! I have been out of the blogging world (can you imagine 3 little boys would keep me too busy to read blogs!?!) and I had no idea you were pregnant. I am so excited for you, I know I'm biased but boys are the best.
