It's Official... #2!
Meaning... #2 is on it's way! As many already know, #2 has been a long process for us and we are finally confident in officially making the announcement to all that we will be welcoming another Ekins to the family. In fact, this little Ekins will carry on the name for generations to come. Yes! It is a boy! We couldn't be happier and thank everyone for their prayers and support along this road.
Today was "the ultrasound" and the sonographer's words were "it's definately a boy!" Today marks 19 weeks and 5 days, making my due date August 27th. We're excited that this little guy will have a cousin almost the same age! Tom and Hillary are expecting a boy about one week before us.
I've had a feeling for a while now that it's going to be a boy and even Abby told her dad on Sunday morning that she's going to have a baby brother. She's about as excited as a 2 1/2 year-old can be.
So wish us luck! Neither of us have a lot of experience with baby boys - Matt is the only boy in his family and I have one older brother. I'm sure this one will put us through many adventures if he's at all like his dad!

Congrats!!! I'm so excited for you! I'm sure you'll do fine with a little boy. I, for one, don't know what to do with a boy or a girl. It scares me, but the only comfort I have is that whom the Lord calls, he qualifies. You are great parents and have impacted my life so much!! Thanks!

Congrats! That is so exciting! I'm sure Abby will be such a great helper. That baby will be "loved" by his sister. Being out numbered 5to 1, the only heads up I'll give you is be ready for wrestling and potty talk. :) That is pretty much what goes on at our house.
Congrats!! I couldn't be happier for your family. A potty trained 2 1/2 year old, a new baby boy on the way, and the burden of your old house off your shoulders. It just strengthens my testimony that the Lord is aware of us and the things we go through. Love you guys!!

Congratulations!! We heard about the baby just before we had ours and haven't had a chance to congratulate you. Abby is so cute! Rahul still teases Ethan about her, even though I know he doesn't remember her. :)
