Thanksgiving Weekend
I must say it's great to live close to family. We spent Thanksgiving Day at Matt's oldest sister Natalie's home in Diamond Valley (about 25 minutes north of us). Her husband Kevin cooked a delicious turkey and Nat's pumpkin rolls were yummy! We had a fun day eating, playing games, listening to music, and just talking. Thanks Riley's!
Matt spent a day and a half in Hinckley for his sister Val's baby's blessing. I wasn't able to go because of other obligations so Matt took Abby and they rode up and back with Natalie and her kids. Matt was able to visit his friend Wes at a previous job site. One summer they extracted honey at Wes' family's business. Lets just say they were stung a few times that summer.

Matt will kill me when he sees this picture of him posted. He brought some childhood things home from his trip and this was his cub scout vest with awards stitched on the front and back. I made him try it on - so cute!
And the BEST part of all - a box full of HE-MAN figurines!! You have to understand - as a kid, I LOVED He-Man. One year for Christmas, I got some He-Man underwear and a plastic He-Man sword and shield. My younger sister Ashley got a hippo that year that you could ride on and I pretended it was my tiger and I was He-Man. So yes, we had fun "playing" again with He-Man last night. Thanks for bringing back the memories Babe. If I would have known you at the age of four, I would have been over at your house every single day!

fun posts Andrea! I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving and got to play with some he-man guys! You're funny! We're excited to spend some time with you again at Christmas!
Hey! Where is She-Ra?!!!
Ha-ha...that is great that you were reunited with your favorite toys.
P.S. Abby is so dang cute and just keeps getting cuter.
"I have the Power!!" I can hear you saying it as I type. What a great childhood. We were lucky to have such great shows, huh? Abby is so darling, p.s. We need to come see you someday. Any chance you'll be down south for Christmas? We will.
Power to the good old stuff! Hey, Abby could not be any cuter! She looks a lot like you Ang. We are enjoying Scott and Syd in our ward now. Scott is pretty funny...it is a Garner thing.
Merry Christmas! Peg
