Halloween and Weekend with Garner's

The Garner's came for a visit this past Halloween weekend. The three little girls had so much fun getting to know each other and going trick-or-treating together. I wish I had my camera Friday night. Abby walked right into one of the first houses we went to. She was dressed in a Barbie "Mariposa" dress that my neighbor let me borrow after refusing to get into the giraffe costume I got for her. She still looked cute and was much more comfortable for a warm evening. Addie was "Goldielocks and Elsie "Baby Bear" - which was so fitting since her nickname is Elsie Bear. Our neighborhood was quite festive for the evening - people were barbequeing for all to eat, there were decorated trailors driving around passing out candy, and even a headless horsman riding an actual horse! After trick-or-treating, Hill made an awesome ;) "Dinner in a Pumpkin". It was delicious. Then we played a few games and watched "The Changeling," in which we all fell asleep halfway through. We all had quite the fun, and adventurous, night. Hopefully we can do it all again next year.

Tom's friend Jason and his wife also came down for the weekend and Jason brought his boat. So on November 1, we went to the lake and wakeboarded! The water wasn't all that bad... with a wetsuit. I was the only one, other than the kids, that didn't actually get into the water. Such a wimp. But everyone else said it was awesome. By 4:00, the water was glass. Too bad it gets dark earlier now.
