Nursery Bite
Abby got bit in Nursery on Sunday by a little boy wanting her seat. I about cried when I saw what happened. The Nursery Leader was kind enough to come to me afterwards and explain what happened. They took the little boy out of the room after it happened and had his parents come take care of things. His parents tried to explain to him that what he had done was wrong and they had him apologize to Abby.
Of course I will put this behind me and not hold any grudge. However, I am concerned. What if this happens again? To Abby or another little kid. Being in the Primary presidency, I think we'll ask that one of this kid's parents stay with him in the room during Nursery, or, if he keeps showing aggressive behavior, he will be asked to not come to Nursery for a while.
Am I being too harsh or too sensitive? What are your suggestions?

I was once the mother of the "biter" (Jaden, believe it or not). I was so embarrassed when he bit someone on the cheek in nursery. It was a short phase he went through. I would just ask the nursery leaders to please keep an extra close eye out for the little boy, stay close by. I'm glad it didn't cut her skin!
Oh, the battle wounds of childhood...they will be many. And right on the cheek no less! She is so cute that it looks good on her though! (not that I want her to get more wounds :)
ouch! A cheek bite must kill! I would just make sure that one of the nursery leaders is assigned to keep an I on that boy! I love Abby's cheeser grin!
In some nursery's if a kid bites, he can't come back for like 2 weeks and then his parents have to come with him for the following 2 weeks. An extra eye on him might be a good idea too.
Wow. I like "the horn family"'s idea...at least two weeks away. That bite looks painful. But what a cute, cute smile.
I think I just shed a few tears...not on my little abbers...that girl...no words can express...I love her legs in the last pics:)
