Garner Family Reunion 2008
Since the Garner family is spread out acrossed the entire country, we excitedly await the annual get-together. It is so fun to see everyone and how much each kid has grown. I have been blessed with such a great family. It feels good to say that each are my friend. Thanks for a fun time everyone. Can't wait to do it again next year!
Abby, Holland, and Adelyn sharing a stroller ride at Lagoon
Thanks Olivia for going on the critter ride with Abby. She managed to ride on only two kiddie coasters and cried most of the way through. After the second one was over, she clapped her hands. I don't know if it was because she enjoyed it or because she was just glad it was all over.

On the 24th of July, we visited This Is The Place Monument. It was a hot one! The funniest thing of the day was (yes fam you get to hear it again!) when Jen, Camille, Heather, Dad, and I were walking up the last dirt road to leave for home. We were talking about how amazing the pioneers were for their endurance and optimism. And how they walked a thousand miles in those long, heavy dresses I don't know! So I started to sing, "Pioneer Children Sang As They Walked" and walked, and walked... when Jen looked over at me and said, "Sister Ekins... shut the he!! up!" We all got a good laugh because the timing was so perfect. Thanks for always making us laugh Jen. You are hilarious.
Izzy, Grandma, and Abby - these two little girls had so much fun together. Every once in a while we'd catch them holding hands, giving hugs, or just chasing each other around.
Saturday night Mom tended all kids under the age of eight and let everyone older go and see /The Osmonds in concert at the Conference Center. It was quite the fun lil' tear jerker. Jen leaned forward after the last song and said, "I think my love for Donny has been rekindled." I think every woman's love for him was rekindled that night. Very good performance. Thanks again Mom.
The next day we visited Brigham Young's home and ate at the delicious Lion House Pantry. Then we went shopping at Trolly North and The Gateway. We had a blast! Shopping doesn't get any better than when you're with your sisters and mama.

Abby with Heather at Cutler's. Yummy sandwiches and cookies.
This is a painting on canvas I gave to Heather for her baby shower. I had a lot of fun doing it. Camille and Jen put on an amazing shower (sorry no pictures)! Camille stayed up until 2:30 am the night before making aprons for everyone. Jen and Hillary decorated so cute. We all felt like we were putting on a wedding.
Love you guys!

It was so much fun to see everyone at the shower! What adorable children everyone has. Abby is adorable and you are a sweet, loving mother. I am proud of who you are and the woman you have become. Love you Ang.
