Frogs and 13-year-olds!
So I got together with a girl in my ward and two of her friends for a WOMEN's basketball tournament this past Friday night. It was supposed to be a WOMEN's match-up, but instead we played one team of sisters (ranging from ages 17 to 22), one team of 16-year-olds (high school team), and one team of 13-year-olds (competetive traveling team). We played from 8pm til midnight for a total of five games. We made it to the championship game and lost by 3 points.... to the 13-year-olds. Pathetic. But hey, we had a fun time. I was feeling great the whole night... until I woke up the next morning. Lets just say that half my toes are black and blue and I can't bend my bad knee more than 90 degrees. I feel like I ran a marathon. I guess my body can't do this anymore. :(
It's 9:37 pm Sunday night and POURING rain outside! You have to understand - St. George does not get rain. So this is really cool. We have all the doors and windows open and Matt just stumbled acrossed two frogs inside our house. We get a lot of frogs from the Virgin River that runs close to home. Pretty cool. Abby had fun chasing them out of the house.
