Tune Tag
The rules of this tag are simple...pick 10 songs from your Music Collection. Whether its' from your iTunes, CDs, online, whatever...the music you listen to (mine can all be found on my Playlist at the bottom of this screen). And then explain WHY. Why you love it. Post your picks and tag a few people of your own. Simple right?
1. Blackbird, by Sarah McLachlan
The first time I heard this song was when I watched "I Am Sam" at the theatre with my brother Tom and his wife Hillary. We all loved the movie so much that we immediately went and bought the soundtrack. Blackbird is an old favorite sung by my favorite artist, so how can I not love it?
2. Wild Horses, by Natasha Bedingfield
Simple: I love horses, wouldn't mind being one if I had the chance, and have a bit of a wild side to me :). NB couldn't put it any better - "wide open spaces far away... all I want is the wind in my hair... wild horses, I want to be like you... wish I could recklessly love like I wanted to."
3. Bubbly, by Colbie Caillat
I heard this song the first time on my sister Jen's blog and instantly fell in love. Such a fun beat with cute words.
4. Hey There Delilah, by Plain White T's
Everyone knows it - just a darn good song that makes you think of your first young love.
5. You Move Me, by Garth Brooks
I Love Garth! But not as much as Trisha does. All of his songs stir up lots of thoughts and memories for me. I think of my life in Rexburg as well as my courtship with Matt when I hear his voice. "You give me courage I didn't know I had."
6. Making Believe, by Jim Reeves
This one's for you Dad, and all the memories of driving in your Jeep Cherokee in Montana. Neither of us needed to talk because Jim did that and the thinking for us.
7. Reason Why, by Rachael Yamagata
For all the reasons we do what we do... and for all the times we wonder why.
I discovered this song while I worked at the University and sat at a computer for 8 hours straight. Music was the only thing that kept me going.
8. Almost Lover, by A Fine Frenzy
I mostly just love the song, for whatever it's worth. The words and the sound are sweet.
9. Love Like This, by Natasha Bedingfield
Such a fun song to move to. It just makes you want to get up and dance... go ahead, I dare ya.
10. Closer to Fine, by Indigo Girls
Always a favorite since high school. "You help me take my life less seriously... it's only life after all."
Now it's your turn. I tag anyone who feels inspired.

You're good with words, Ang. These too are some of my faves....I like your style.
Ang, anything music makes does something to me and I don't what it is. But I loved reading about these songs, I could take a whole day and just write and write about music and different songs. So thanks,
heather
Good stuff Ang-love it! It's fun to think back on the music that we discovered and DANCED to together!
