My Kind of Heaven

Matt got home late last night after another long week away from us. We've had so much fun today working outside. We washed the entire outside of the house and driveway with a rented power water sprayer, mowed/trimmed the lawn, weeded the flower beds, and tidied up the garage. That's all he wanted to do... on his day off... besides just be with his girls. Abby had fun watching us outside while she sat in her jog stroller (we just wheeled it around the yard so that she was always in view).

They were both really tired when we were all done, from the hot sun to all the laughing they've done today. No one else can get her to laugh like her daddy. She was so excited when he arrived home last night that she reached out for him the second she saw his face. This is Abby's second nap of the day already. There's not a sound in the house except for Dad's snoring and Abby's light breathing. And I just listen quietly while I work on my blog in the same room with them behind me. HEAVEN. I took the picture of her with her blanket in her mouth for you, Mom. She absolutely loves the Hello Kitty blanket you made her. She doesn't like to go to bed without it in her mouth or over her face. Remind you of someone?
