I'm Back!
My apologies first for being away for SO long. And I don't even have pictures to share for my time away being that I'm currently now in Evansville, IN with no camera cable to download/share pictures.
Today marks Abby's 8 MONTH birthday. Wow. I can't believe how much this little one has grown and how quickly the time has passed. She continues to be the highlight of my every day and I'm glad we get to spend life together right now.
On kind of a down side, we thought we'd be welcoming another one of her into this world until just a week ago, while visiting my sister Camille in California, I had to go in for ANOTHER emergency ectopic pregnancy surgery. Lots of bleeding and no way for that little one to make it on their own to the uterus. Tough week and not as much vacation as I'd hoped, but good to be over all the pain. Man, it's like having a baby all in one. Only no beautiful prize in the end. I'm doing just fine now recovering from the surgery and enjoying being with Matt while he works in Evansville.
On a positive note, while in California and before getting sick, we had fun spending one day in Santa Monica and one day in Malibu. Nope, no star-sightings. But we sure had fun trying. And Abby and Holland had fun riding in the swings that many children of stars have swung in. We also went to a flea market and had lunch at the famous In-n-Out Burger. Yummy. Andrea, we are sad to hear that you had to have surgery. Do they know what causes that? I hope you are feeling better.
All my prayers are with you, but I'm glad that you are recovering and were able to get to Evansville this week.

Thank you everyone for your support. We're doing well and recovering great. To answer your question Tashina, no they don't know what causes ectopic pregnancies and they don't know how to prevent them.

I'm so sorry to hear about that sad news. I'm sure that was rough and I'm glad to hear you're doing better.
On a lighter note...you were about an hour and a half north of my home in California!! I didn't know you were going there. Did you go to the ocean? I remember you saying you hadn't really been before. Also, I'm SO happy you ate In-N-Out. Mmmmmm. I would kill for that right now.
