100 Crazy Things About Me
1. I seriously used to think I was a boy... until I was about five years old when my dad told me I'd never have those "things" that boys have.
2. My temper flares wildly when I haven't eaten on schedule. So stay back if it's suppertime!
3. I used to flaunt a mullet between the ages of four and 10. This was me in '84 - just four-years-old. Thanks for the picture Michele!

4. Regardless of age, gray sweatpants will always my favorite article of clothing. Gotta love the ones with the pink stripes.
5. The nine-year-old boys in my neighborhood when I was five-years-old were scared of me. Lets just say I was known to give a few bloody noses or speak my mind quite loud and clear.
6. I miss the days of watching my brother Tom play Zelda while I ate one of my 48 king size Snickers that were given to me for my eighth birthday from a girl whose dad was a dentist. I shared only one of those 48 with my sister Jen on her 12th birthday. Sorry to the rest of you. I still regret that selfish moment in my life.
7. I miss reading The Bernstein Bear books with my sister Ashley every night before we'd fall asleep. We used to plan out who would get which book for birthdays and Christmas'.
8. I like to pick at anything on anyone... yep, even zits. I've seriously considered opening my own "Picking Patch" for those that need something picked in a hard-to-reach area (back, ear, etc.). I'm grossing a lot of you out by now, huh?
9. I miss the days of being a star basketball player. And yet, I would never go back.
10. When I'm passionate about something and have my mind set, there's no stopping me. I like that about me, however it scares me at times.
10. I have sincere admiration for each of my six siblings. They rock and I want to be like all of them.
11. I used to collect Transformers... "more than meets the eye!" I threw one of my famous temper-tantrums one day and ended up breaking my most expensive one. It was this diesel truck with a trailer. I acted like it didn't bother me, but then I went to my room and cried for an hour. This guy was the front part of the truck:

12. My mom used to lock me out of the house until my temper was under control. It never worked. In fact, she ended up having to let me back into the house before the neighbors would think to call Child Protective Services.
13. Are you all scared of me yet? I'm not proud of my childhood temper. I guess it's just something from my past I feel like I have to tell people about to help me get over it.
14. I regret quitting the violin. I think it's one of the most beautiful instruments ever created.
15. I wish I would have tried dancing or ballet. I could have used a little more "grace" in my younger years.
16. I love to dance.
17. When... or IF I go to Heaven, I really hope that God will give me a beautiful singing voice. That's the one thing I wish I had more than anything. With my passion and drive, I would make a record.
18. I don't have complete confidence in my current talents/gifts to go out on any kind of a line.
19. I am a very confident and happy person, but I can get down and depressed quite easily. But even that usually doesn't last long. I guess I'm just a typical girl... up, down, up, down. And I second-guess myself probably too much.
21. That's why I'm grateful to have a very constant husband.
22. I watched season one of "Friday Night Lights" over the course of one week. Wow, that show pulls you in and makes you feel like you're a resident of Dillon, TX. I love the relationship of Coach and his wife.

24. I love to speak publicly and hope someday to be a motivational speaker to youth.
25. I want to someday teach at a college or university, preferrably BYU-Idaho.
26. I miss going to lunch with my Grandma Rigby while living in Rexburg. She would always order a Mountain Dew.
27. I never thought being a mom would be so fulfilling.
28. I have the best husband.
29. I refuse to ever let a dog or cat live inside my house. (No offense to those of you that believe this is okay. I'm just a clean freak and can't stand hairs other than my abundant own all over).
30. I'm a clean freak.
31. Organizing is one of my secret obsessions.
32. I never read a book for English class completely through in high school. I relied on Cliffs Notes. After not reading ONE book for Book Club and watching the movie instead, my Book Club groupies tease me about being the Cliffs Notes girl and they didn't even know about my past. Yes, I have disappointed myself.
33. I have surprised myself and actually really enjoy reading books now, from cover to cover!
34. I convinced a boy in the sixth grade to trade me his rare Michael Jordan basketball card for a bunch of crappy, worthless cards. I think he had a crush on me and not very many girls gave him the time of day. We won't mention any names in case this email somehow gets around to him. If you really want to know, I'll tell you later.
35. I actually used to think that I could be as good as Michael Jordan. Wow, the hope and confidence of a child! What happened?
36. Really hot boys have liked me before (surprising, huh?), but I never gave them the attention they thought they deserved for that very reason. I can't stand boys that know they're hot. I would hate to tell my husband to quit looking at himself in the mirror. My husband's hot, but just doesn't know it.
37. There's no place on this earth that makes me happier than being at my grandpa's cabin in Island Park, Idaho. I plan to buy some land there someday.

38. I wish I could have worked at The Playmill like my mom once did. Or at least taken the chance to move away for the summer during college and worked in West Yellowstone or on a Dude Ranch.
39. I regret never studying abroad. My sister Ashley went to Europe and took MY camera. I wish I could have been the one snapping all those gorgeous pictures. I never even got copies!
41. I'm extremely grateful my mom MADE me take piano lessons and discouraged me from ever quitting. She still continues to encourage me to play and I am proud to be able to sit down and play beautiful music for my daughter to hear.
43. I've wanted to be an actress and a news anchor before. But after trying a little bit of both, I'm grateful I didn't pursue either.

44. I used to turn down Friday night offers to hang out with the "popular" kids in high school so that I could hang out with my mom and dad.
45. I love to mow the lawn.
46. I love to look pretty, but don't believe in wasting my money at the salon. I think they charge way too much for way too much lack of attention and detail. I give myself a pedicure at home after I get one at the salon. And more than $30 for a haircut is ridiculous in my opinion.
47. I would rather get a thoughtful note from and a dinner date with my husband than flowers or diamonds.
48. I'm the cuddler in the relationship.
49. I want to discover an island someday and spend all day long in my swimsuit on the beach.
50. I wish I knew how people perceived me.
51. I really don't think I can think of 50 more. We'll continue this another day. My child needs her mother.

I loved reading your top 100 (or top 50 for now). You totally stole my idea!! I have been compiling my own top 100 but haven't posted it yet because I haven't reached 100 yet. Don't think I have copied you when I post my own! haha. You look exactly like Heather when you were little. Darling!!
By the way the whole Zelda thing is all too familiar and I always wanted to work at the Playmill too!
Could I join you on that lone beach and wear a swimsuti too? I think I'd feel comfortable enough with you. Plus we could use our swears we learned on Ghostbuster and say them all we want...and no one would ever know.
