Ashley and McKay's Visit to Indy

McKay LOVED to play the piano during his visit. It was sweet to see how soft and gentle he played for everyone, especially when Abby was sleeping.

Just helping Dad with the dirty work!

The Indianapolis Children's Museum. Melanie was so nice to add us to her guest pass. Thanks Mel!

We needed a tub quick and since McKay was already taking his bath, the sink was our only immediate option. :)

Aren't they so cute together? McKay loved to give Abby kisses! He'll be such a good big brother to his baby sister.

At it again!

McKay had a lot of fun riding the Merry-Go-Round at the Children's Museum.

Fireworks of Glass is the largest permanent sculpture of blown glass by renowned artist Dale Chihuly. The 43-foot-tall tower rises above a glass ceiling. Ashley was excited to see this exhibit ever since I told her about it because she studied the artist in college.

Who doesn't love The Big Red Dog?!

One day, we took Ashley and McKay to one of our favorite places in Indianapolis - The Monon Trail. It was a beautiful day. During our walk, we stopped at Bub's Burgers in Carmel for lunch. If you haven't tried the place yet, a definite must if you're in the mood for a really good elk burger and waffle fries.

McKay liked it too.

Abby... not so much...

Until AFTER she got her nap.

Long story. It was a really rainy day and we were hanging out in an unfamiliar part of town while waiting for someone. We were bored, tired, and really hungry. What's more familiar to the average American than some Micky D's?! Yep, we went through the drive thru three times before we finally headed home. Ash - I'll never forget the first time I tried hot apple pies from McDonald's!
